What I'm doing now

...at the piano

I'm working on several sets of miniature piano pieces by Johannes Brahms. (Op. 76, Op. 79, Op. 116, Op. 117, Op. 118 and Op. 119) I had previously played Op. 76, Op. 79 No. 1, Op. 117, Op. 118 Nos. 1-3. I am currently learning Op. 119.

I'm hoping this will turn into a recording project.

I am also practicing Esa-Pekka Salonen's Dichotomie for a series of concerts in September with a vocal ensemble Voktett Hannover.

...for conducting

I'm writing an article about Partiturspiel (score reading). This is a subject I taught at Musikhochschule Lübeck until July 2023.

...on the side

I'm working on a podcast called Almost Music (Fast Schon Musik in German) with Almut Buchholz.
